Responsibilities Develop profitable purchasing strategies.
Ensure inventory is available when needed.
Maintain prices in companies' software system.
Assess supplier profiles and analyze offers.
Prepare and implement effective supplier negotiation.
Manage excellent relationships with key suppliers.
Review supplies to ensure quality and conformance.
Monitor stock levels.
Prepare and submit detailed reports as requested.
Requirements and skills Proven experience as a purchasing agent.
Demonstrable experience in negotiating prices and terms and conditions.
Knowledge of market research, data analysis and purchasing best practices.
Working knowledge of MS Office and other software.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
A strong analytical mindset.
Outstanding organizational skills College degree preferred in business administration along with 5-10 years purchasing experience.
