The fairlife Summer Internship Program is designed to welcome interns across our locations to gain meaningful experience and social and professional development opportunitiesFor 11 weeks, interns will work full-time in one of our three locations:

job purpose:
The fairlife internship experience provides an opportunity to work the Summer of 2024 with the fairlife, LLC Production Planning Team, at our plant in Goodyear, AZThis internship will be focused on supporting production, milk, and supply planning in the development and refinement of metrics, tools and processes around our finite and mid-range planning horizons.
skills/qualifications required:
Must be currently enrolled in a four-year undergraduate degree program, entering the fall semester as a junior or senior (preferred)Preferred focus on Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Mathematics, Economics, or Engineering.
Cumulative GPA of 3.

0, or higherAbility to handle ambiguity and work in a fast paced, entrepreneurial environment.
Excels in understanding and analyzing large amounts of data from multiple sourcesAbility to learn and follow new analytical techniques and assays.
Ability to collate results, summarize findings and present to peerslearning objectives:
Gain an understanding of production scheduling and best practices and measures of success/KPIs.
Familiarity with spreadsheet modelingExperience with dashboards and reporting tools such as MS PowerBI and Anaplan to drive analytical insights.
Experience leading continuous improvement initiatives in collaboration with operations and supply chain teams.
Familiarity building executive level presentationsExperience with strategic analysisUnderstanding of inventory management and customer serviceworking conditions and physical requirements:

Notify supervision of any repairs or adjustments that are required that may affect product quality or food safety.
Understand, observe, and comply with the handling and usage of the color-coded container policy while in the Production Areas.
Perform all duties necessary to meet Company, Customer and/or Government requirements/standards as prioritized by the Company.
Ability to initiate action to prevent the occurrence of nonconformities relating to Food Safety and the Quality of the product, processes, quality system, or safety system.
Identify and record any problems relating to Food Safety and the Quality of the ingredients, processes, quality system, or safety system.
Control further processing or delivery of nonconforming product in terms of Food Safety and Quality issues until the deficiency or unsatisfactory condition has been corrected.
In the event of absence, another employee with the same skill level will assume the duties and responsibilities as required.
